CONTROL HV SSBC WITH NEGATIVE P/BRAKE INPUT & OPS OUTPUT

The Muirhead® Seat belt controllers and sequential seat belt controllers are designed to interface into the vehicle's system and assist with operator and machine safety.

The two systems differ in the following ways:

SEAT BELT CONTROLLER

Ensures seat belt and park brake are applied before starting the machine

SEQUENTIAL SEAT BELT CONTROLLER

Assists the operator to follow safety procedures by ensuring the machine is started following the correct start up sequence, an incorrect sequence will prevent the machine from starting in an unsafe way.

Both systems also share the following benefits:

• Ensure operators dismount the vehicle safely by shutting down the machine if the system no longer senses the operator and the park brake

• If the operator safely dismounts the machine, the controller will keep the machine running for a set period before shutting the machine
down, preventing excess idling, fuel waste and unnecesary machine wear.
